Effective Habits – the Multitasking Myth – Interview with Jay Papasan, Co-author of “The One Thing”

In this interview “The One Thing” co-author, Jay Papasan, explains us how to channel effectively our energies during the day to be more effective, disproving the multitasking myth. Often we believe that multitasking is an advantage and many companies want to hire people that are good multitasked. Researches and our experience, though, tell us that multitasking decreases our effectiveness and even our IQ during the activity. Habits of effective people eliminate multitasking. The first habit we need to be more effective is that of asking ourselves, every single day: “what is the one activity that, if completed, would give me the highest advantage?”
